an easy way to make any cream soup

I about fell out of my chair when I saw this.  Heather from The Kneady Homesteader post great videos on Youtube.  But this one shows how she makes a bechamel sauce and she goes on to explain that we can use it for any cream of soup.  So no need to buy a can of “what is in that” unless you just want one or two on hand.  But, really, there isn’t a need for it.  She then proceeds to show you how to make chicken pot pie filling.  It doesn’t take any longer than if you heated the can up.  She fed a family of 8 with a chicken breast and a half and will have left overs.  Plus the other chicken breast and a half that she cooked for another meal.  If that isn’t stretching meat, I don’t know what is.

I will be making this after Shabbat, so I’ll post more on it the.  I also found a video from the Half Acre Homestead where she makes her own dried Chicken bouillion.  She basically made rich demi-glace, cut it up, dried it, powdered it, and dried it again, to make sure there was no dampness to mold.
